“A” – Washed Arabica
Origin: The Sigri plantation is situated in the Wahgi Valley in the Papua New Guinea Highlands at an altitude of 1600m above sea level.
Sigri coffee is a fully washed Arabica, which is produced by a unique four-day fermentation and washing process.
The parchment coffee is sun dried and then carefully conditioned for a six to eight week period to enhance and refine the coffee’s final cup flavour – careful hulling, grading and finally hand sorting complete the production of the finest and most consistent quality coffee produced in Papua New Guinea.
Roast/Cupping Notes: Good to high flavour.
Good acidity with exceptional aromatics with a full, smooth, deep, rich body with a long, smooth, sweet finish.
Can have a good, slightly pungent aroma.
